By Alex Ortolani and Jeff Green
Feb. 4 (Bloomberg) -- A trade group representing auto suppliers is seeking up to $10.5 billion in federal aid, according to documents presented to the U.S. Treasury this week.
The plans include three scenarios for action, including a “quick pay” program that would speed payments to suppliers through automakers General Motors Corp. and Chrysler LLC, according to an 11-page presentation by the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association.
Spokeswoman Ann Wilson did not immediately return a call seeking comment about the details of the presentation.
