Nov. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Aluar Aluminio Argentino SAIC, Argentina’s biggest aluminum maker, posted a profit of 76 million pesos ($19.9 million) for the quarter ended Sept. 30.

Net income was 98 million pesos in the year-earlier period, the Buenos Aires-based company said in a statement today on the stock exchange’s Web site. Sales fell to 952 million pesos from 1.01 billion.
