Brazil to Issue Real-Denominated Bonds Overseas, Valor Reports
By Camila Fontana
Nov. 6 (Bloomberg) -- The Brazilian government will issue real-denominated bonds on international markets, Valor Economico reported, citing an interview with Finance Minister Guido Mantega.
The transactions would contain the dollar flow into Brazil and the real’s appreciation, the newspaper said. The government is also considering allowing foreign investors in the stock- futures market to deposit margins abroad, the minister told the Sao Paulo-based newspaper.
