Nov. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Ciampino, Rome's second-biggest commercial airport, was closed after an anonymous telephone call said there was a bomb planted at the site, a spokesman for Rome's Airport Authority said in a telephone interview today.
Flights to Ciampino are being diverted to Rome's biggest airport, Fiumicino, the spokesman, who declined to be named, said.
Ciampino, a military and commercial airport, is a hub for budget airlines such as Ryanair Holdings Plc and EasyJet Plc.
