Sarkozy's Ex-Wife Remarries in New York, Europe 1 Reports

By Ladka Bauerova

March 24 (Bloomberg) -- Cecilia Sarkozy, the former wife of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, remarried yesterday in New York, Europe 1 radio reported.

Cecilia, who now goes by her maiden name Ciganer-Albeniz, exchanged vows with advertising executive Richard Attias on the 65th floor of the Rockefeller Center last night, the radio station said on its Web site. She and Sarkozy divorced in October, five months after his election to the presidency.

The ceremony, followed by a black-tie dinner, was attended by 150 guests, mostly Europeans who crossed the Atlantic for the occasion, Europe 1 reported.

Attias is Cecilia's third husband, Europe 1 said. She has two daughters from her first marriage to former French TV presenter Jacques Martin, who died last year, and a 10-year-old son with Sarkozy. Sarkozy married the Italian-born singer and former model, Carla Bruni, in February.
