Jan. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Talisman Energy Inc., the Canadian oil company with about 30 percent of its reserves in the North Sea, said production from two fields in the region shut by storms last week will probably resume Jan. 13.
Talisman on Jan. 4 halted output of about 25,000 barrels of oil a day from the Ross and Blake fields in the U.K. sector of the North Sea because of strong winds and high waves.
``Everything should be ready for startup Sunday, Jan. 13,'' Talisman spokesman Dave Mann said in a voicemail message from Calgary today.
The Bleo Holm floating, production, storage and offloading vessel that takes crude from the Ross and Blake fields is being inspected for damage, he said.
Four workers were injured on the Bleo Holm last week when barrels containing chemicals broke loose on deck during winds of more than 40 knots (46 miles per hour) and waves nine meters (30 feet) high, Talisman has said. Three workers were airlifted to a hospital onshore, while the fourth one remained onboard.
One worker suffered a cracked rib, Mann said today. One or two workers are still in the hospital for observation, he said.
