By Nathan Gill
Nov. 6 (Bloomberg) -- BHP Billiton Ltd. is “actively seeking” a solution to a strike that entered a 25th day at its Spence copper mine in northern Chile, a company spokesman said.
Output at the 200,000-ton-a-year mine “continues at reduced levels to maintain integrity” of equipment, spokesman Ruban Yogarajah said today in a telephone interview from London. He declined to give details on production or shipments.
