RBA Member McKibbin Wants Taxes Cut Amid Crisis, Review Reports

Feb. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Reserve Bank of Australia board member Warwick McKibbin said the government should cut taxes as part of its plan to boost the economy, the Australian Financial Review said.
McKibbin, also an economist at Canberra-based Australian National University, said the government’s stimulus package should boost infrastructure spending and cut taxes amid the global economic crisis, the newspaper reported, citing an interview with McKibbin.
