July 2 (Bloomberg) -- China ’s central bank said companies will be allowed to undertake settlement of cross-border trade in the yuan from today. The People’s Bank of China will encourage banks to offer yuan settlement services and will control the scale of such services to prevent systemic risk, the bank said in a statement on its Web site today.
