Nov. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Istanbul is planning to bid to host the 2020 Summer Olympic Games.

A move by the Turkish city has support from as much as 85 percent of citizens, spokesman Mehmet Atalay said today at a conference in London. A bid will be due by 2011 and other cities considering trying to host the Games include Delhi and Tokyo.
