Nov. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Flavia Pennetta won her singles match today against Melanie Oudin to give Italy an unbeatable 3-0 lead in the final of tennis’s Fed Cup.

Italy has now won the title twice in three years. It had never beaten record 17-time champion the U.S. in the competition.
