Nov. 7 (Bloomberg) -- England defeated world champion New Zealand 20-12 to reach the final of rugby league’s Four Nations tournament against Australia.
Peter Fox touched down twice and Kyle Eastmond once as England outscored New Zealand three tries to two before the home fans at Galpharm Stadium in Huddersfield. The victory moved England into second place ahead of New Zealand in the final standings.
Australia easily won in France 42-4 to finish atop the standings. Michael Jennings scored three tries for the Kangaroos, while twin brothers Josh and Brett Morris touched down twice each.
England will host the final Nov. 14 at Elland Road in Leeds.
