Pemex Closes Two Export Terminals on Weather That May Intensify

By Andres R. Martinez

Jan. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Petroleos Mexicanos, the third- largest supplier of crude to the U.S., closed two oil export terminals in the Gulf of Mexico because of heavy winds and rain.

The terminals at the ports of Pajaritos and Dos Bocas are shuttered amid weather that may intensify, according to a weather bulletin on the Web site of Mexico’s Merchant Marine.

Winds as strong as 60 kilometers per hour (37.3 mph) have been reported, according to the statement.
