Tropical Storm Ida Slows Down, Weakens Before Crossing Coast

Nov. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Tropical Storm Ida slowed down and its wind speed fell as it moved closer to the U.S. Gulf Coast, the National Hurricane Center said. The storm’s winds declined to 60 miles (90 kilometers) per hour from 65 mph earlier.
The center of Ida was 95 miles south-southwest of Mobile, Alabama at 12 a.m., the NHC said. The storm was moving north at 10 mph, down from 13 mph earlier.
