NASA Postpones Discovery Shuttle Landing Due to Low Cloud Cover
By Chris Dolmetsch
Aug. 8 (Bloomberg) -- NASA postponed the landing of the space shuttle Discovery until tomorrow because of low cloud cover around Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the U.S. space agency said.
Discovery had been scheduled to touch down at the space center at 4:46 a.m. local time. Two landing attempts were scrubbed this morning and the shuttle now has four opportunities for tomorrow, NASA said on its online television channel.
